The studio started working long before its official establishment. We first dipped our toes into the Web3 world back in 2019, though we didn't take those attempts seriously at the time. It wasn't until 2021 that we landed our first real gig as artists in the crypto space. What followed was a long road of freelance grinding as artists and occasional developers. Then, in 2024, we launched our first independent project, which turned out to be a complete failure. However, it gave us invaluable experience, leading to the project that truly ignited the idea of founding a studio—MutantPunks. This project laid the groundwork for our studio's identity and core mission: paying tribute to the industry's legends while bringing a fresh perspective to their vision. While the collection didn't catch on commercially, it served its purpose by giving us the confidence to build a real studio. All holders of the mutant project received free spots in our upcoming collections, and some of them became our close friends and part of the team.
History
Our studio officially opened its doors under the name ShadowDstudio with the launch of AcidShadow. It was the first collection in our gaming series, featuring fully animated characters and actions designed entirely with gamification in mind. Even back then, we knew exactly what our next steps would look like. Blending NFT tech with gaming became the studio's core focus during that chapter. Soon after, we introduced a new character—Bones—followed closely by GIEME. Creating GIEME was the turning point that made us realize we are far more than just an art studio. This led to the birth of our IT division, 906studio, and the development of the BasedDNA app. But we wouldn't be ourselves if we limited ourselves to just the Base network. We quickly expanded across other chains and rebranded as ODS (which explains why our X handle changed four times—we just can't stop evolving and improving). ODS turned into a super-app where we packed our best ideas and concepts, all chasing a single goal: to uncover the truth. We filter out the noise to deliver comprehensive, practical tools for everyday work. That is the true mission of ODS.
Present
And that brings us to the present day, marked by the launch of a full-scale laboratory (SD6LAB) dedicated to exploring tech, innovation, and raw concepts. 906studio has already taken two new applications from the lab into active development, and we are working tirelessly on them right now. We have seen countless projects shut down before they even really got started, even though they had everything we lacked—an audience, loyalty, rock-solid support, and massive funding. That has been our ultimate motivation. We operate at a loss, hustle for capital wherever we can, and build on old hardware, but we refuse to quit. We know we will eventually find our audience and backing, but that’s not what drives us. What matters is what you build and where you are headed. We know our path perfectly. It’s brutal, and it might even look impossible from the outside, but it is the right one. There are no shortcuts, just as there is no progress without mistakes. We are grateful that we stumbled, that our early projects failed, and that things didn't click for a long time. It forged us into something stronger. Now, our company is genuinely ready to scale and evolve.

Well, that's the corporate way to put it. In reality, we are all in this together, and every single one of us is heavily involved in building the company and driving each division forward.
